Within the Teacher Dashboard, navigate to Admin. Within the sub navigation select either teachers or Invited teachers and click ‘Add Teachers’.


A module should appear allowing you to invite a teacher. Newly created teacher accounts will be listed on the ‘Invited teachers’ page initially but will move to the Teachers page once the account holder confirms their account.

As well as being more secure, individual teacher accounts will see more functionality over the coming months.
Can a teacher request an account within MyMaths?
No. They will have to be invited through ‘Admin, Invite teachers’ within the Teacher Dashboard.
Does the account holder’s email address have to belong to an institution?
No. Any email can be used but only one email address per account. If the account holder belongs to multiple institutions then they will have to use a different email address for each account.
Why does the invited account have the status ‘bounced’?
Check that the email address is correct and confirm with the account holder. If it is correct and it still bounces, please contact us.
Why does the invited account have the status ‘expired’?
For security, the invitation link will expire after a certain amount of time. Click ‘resend invitation’ to send a new link. The account holder should receive a new email within a few minutes. Check Spam and Junk emails if an email doesn’t arrive in their inbox. If the account holder doesn’t receive an email, please contact us.
I can’t send an invitation as ‘Account already exists’
If the account holder already has an account with a different MyMaths school, they will need to use a separate email address for each account.
This error may also appear if the email address has already been invited to join your school.
Can I suspend an account?
Not at the moment. You will have to delete the account and invite them again later. We may include this functionality at a later date.
Can I change another teacher’s password?
No. For security reasons, only the account holder can change their password.
Can I change another teacher’s email address?
Only the account holder will be able to change their email address. If you have invited a user but they haven’t confirmed their account yet, you will have to delete their account and add it again using the correct email address.
